PADI Rescue Diver Course $325 USD | Cabo San Lucas | Mexico
The Rescue Diver course may be the most challenging scuba diving course you have taken on yet. It is what we call ‘serious fun’, and we think you will be glad after the hard work that you have earned your Rescue Diver certification and enhanced your skills.
For many divers this is the beginning of a career as a Divemaster or PADI Scuba Instructor. As you learn to direct your attention to other divers and how to care for them when in need, you begin to take on the leader ship role as a Rescue Diver.

All Rescue Diver students enrolling in the PADI Rescue course are required to fill out the PADI Medical Statement. Please download and print out a copy. If you answer YES to any of the conditions you will need to see your doctor for clearance before we can begin your scuba training.
To enroll in the Rescue Diver course you must be at least 12 years old, be a certified Advanced Diver, have a current CPR and First Aid certification, have current diving skills and be reasonably fit. We typically conduct our Rescue courses over 3 to 4 days.
Rescue Diver Training Sessions | Rescue Scenarios
The Rescue Diver course training sessions include 10 in water training exercises that include skills like; responding from the shore, a boat or a dock, responsive and unresponsive divers and distressed divers on the surface and underwater.
Once you are comfortable with these skills you progress to the two final scenarios where you decide how to manage an accident and implement your skills in the open water environment. These are realistic scenarios where you will put your newly honed skills into a real world practice scenario.
EFR – Emergency First Response CPR First Aid Course $125
As having a current CPR and First Aid certification is a prerequisite for Rescue Diver training we offer the Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care courses to fulfill this requirement.
The EFR course curriculum includes several components:
- CPR/Primary Care for any of adults/children/infants
- First Aid/Secondary Care for any of adults/children/infants
