Join the professional educators at Barefoot Dive Pro for the premier Emergency First Response Instructor training program in Los Cabos, Mexico. The EFR Instructor credential is now a prerequisite for the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) and can be taught by PADI Divemasters and Assistant Instructors as well.

Our extended format covers 2 days of EFR knowledge development, refining of your CPR and First Aid skills to the role model level and expands on your leadership level training to increase the effectiveness of your teaching through critiquing. You will also spend time refining your skills for infants and children as a Care for Children Instructor.

An integral module of PADI Instructor training is the EFR Instructor course at Barefoot Dive Pro. Taught by our resident PADI Course Director and EFR Instructor Trainer, who is also a certified NBMDHT Diver Medic Technician, over 2 days.

Addition components of the Barefoot EFR Instructor program include, AED orientation, Emergency Oxygen administration and Hyperbaric Chamber orientation. Our EFR IT is also a certified Dive Medic Technician registered with the NBMDHT and a supporter of the local SSS Chamber Network and so includes a Hyperbaric Chamber Orientation module as well.
